There are two main ways to help our region's only children's hospital: fundraising through an event you plan, or giving an outright donation or gift-in-kind.

FUNDRAISING >>

Our Stroll for Strong Kids, Telethon and Gala are all fun ways to get to know GCHAS and our active community supporters. But if you want to host your own fundraiser, the good news is you can apply right here online! Whether it’s as simple as a summertime lemonade stand, or more involved, such as a golf tournament or casino night, you’ll be rewarded not only with fun and new friends, but also the unique chance to make a difference in local children’s lives. Donate Online -- Access our secure online giving form.

Purchase an Item from our Wish List -- If you prefer, your donation (or the funds your group raised) can be used to purchase a specific item from our wish list. View it here, then call (585) 273-5948 to purchase.

Give through Wal-Mart's Wish List Registry --To access this list in the store, just type in "Child Life Department" (first name) and"wish list" (last name).

Toy Drive and Gift Giving Guidelines-- Here's a list of items we can receive, information on holidays at the hospital, and safety regulations and helpful hints to keep in mind while you're collecting.

Please be aware: Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong receives thousands of donations every year. A sizeable portion of this generosity is raised through private group and individual fundraisers – welcome surprises that we are often unaware of until we receive a check.

To begin addressing this concern, we are now in the process of requiring all fundraising groups to register their efforts with us. If you are ever concerned about the legitimacy of a group or individual asking for a donation to the hospital, or if you’d rather donate directly to the hospital, please call Office of Advancement and Community Affairs at (585) 273-5948.
