Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers T-Shirt Fundraiser, ongoing
Soon to open a state-of-the-art facility in Webster, Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers is celebrating and spreading the word with a t-shirt fundraiser that benefits the Neonatal ICU at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.
Proceeds from the t-shirts, $10 each and available in sizes ranging from 6 months to extra large, will help purchase a high-tech Giraffe bed, a special isolette engineered for the most critical newborns.

7th annual Screaming Beavers Golf Tournament, June 21
This charity golf event, to be held on Saturday, June 21 at Brockport Country Club, helps raise funds for Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.

B&L Wholesale Golf Tournament, June 25
Sprawling across Shadow Lakes, Shadow Pines and Greystone Golf Clubs, this tournament raises funds for Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. For more information, call Lisa Chatt at (585) 546-6596.

7th annual Chiavetta's Chicken Barbeque, June 26
Chiavetta's Catering and Strong Memorial Hospital's Food and Nutrition Services are partnering to hold this annual fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 at the Psychiatry entrance (located on the Crittenden Road side of the medical center).
Tickets, $8 each, afford you half of a chicken, two salads, a roll with butter, and a cookie. A portion of the funds raised will support patients and families at Golisano Children's Hospital.
To purchase your dinner in advance, visit the House of Six Nations cafeteria, or call (585)273-5948. Don't delay -- we've sold out for the past six years, so be sure to reserve your meal ahead of time!

19th annual Ten Ugly Men Festival, July 26
Ready to have some fun and support Golisano Children’s Hospital at the same time? Venture out to the TUM Festival at Genesee Valley Park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for some serious dodgeball, bocceball and kickball tournaments – not to mention a 5K race and tunes by the Gin Blossoms. 9th annual Tim Milgate Golf Tournament, Aug. 4
Come join us at the Deerfield Country Club for this annual tournament, which benefits Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong!
The scramble format competition, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., costs $95 per person and includes18 holes of golf (with a cart!), soda, beer and lunch at the turn, a prime rib dinner and the chance to win prizes and keepsakes -- plus an annual gift!

6th annual Kittelberger Florist Charity Golf Tournament, Aug. 4
The 6th annual golf tournament – hosted by Kittleberger Florist & Gifts of Webster – will be held at noon on Monday, Aug. 4, at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Course, 7030 Bayview Drive, Sodus Point, NY 14555.
Registration is $100 per person for golfing and dinner, and $35 per person for just dinner. All interested participants must register online by July 14, 2008. Proceeds will be donated to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, the Webster Comfort Care and the Webster Association for Senior Programs.

4th annual Fairport Music and Food Festival, Aug. 23

Roc City Rib Fest, Aug. 30
Barbeque fanatics, join us from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at the historic Wadsworth-Jerris Estate, 1211 W. River Road in Caledonia
. A portion of each admission ticket -- $5 each (free for kids 10 and younger) -- will be donated to Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.
Local Rochester area vendors will sell barbecue, and a rib cook-off competition is open to all who want to compete. Bands and children's attractions will be provided; an antique show will also be held on the premises, and area crafters will be selling handmade goods.
