25th Annual Children's Miracle Network Telethon on 10NBC June 1, 2008 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. AND 7 to 11 p.m.

On Sunday night, June 1, Golisano Children’s Hospital 25th annual CMN telethon tote board – which represents a year’s worth of community fundraising efforts, in addition to this weekend pledges – blinked a final $4,132,732. This amount is an amalgamation of the community’s year-long generosity, and includes donations and gifts from local businesses, community groups and individual; many these groups brought checks to present on-air.

During the one-day event, the 10NBC telethon raised nearly $60,000 through online, phoned-in and direct mail pledges combined. (Last year’s telethon raised close to $51,000; last year’s tote-board reached $4,066,405.)

Stories of strength and courage aired on local television sets on 10NBC. Hosts Brett Davidsen, Robin DeWind and Rich Funke chronicled the journeys of this year’s Miracle Kids and their families. See more photos from the event, below.
