CMN partners, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, held their "Golfing for Kids" tournament on Monday, May 19. The event was held at Shadow Lakes and Shadow Pines golf courses, and featured Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong as one of two beneficiaries. More than 150 golfers who ventured out to help raise more than $130,000.

Tops Never Stops Championing Kids
Pictured above (left to right), Todd Nettnin, store manager of the TOPS store on Mount Read Boulevard, and Jack Kelleher, Rochester area district manager, present a check worth more than $36,000 to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. The money culminates a combined effort of more than 20 Greater Rochester area TOPS and Martin’s Super Food Stores, which sold Children’s Miracle Network paper icons for two weeks this past June.
Not ready to pause, vigilant CMN partners TOPS and Martin’s launched full-speed into yet another fundraising campaign for kids who need it most; during the first two weeks in October, the Greater Rochester area stores again encouraged customers to make a dollar donation to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong –this time, in exchange for an entry ticket, they received a chance to win free groceries for a year.
The lucky winner –Paul Figueroa of Rochester –was drawn during the Golisano Children’s Hospital’s 20th Anniversary Gala on Oct. 20 at the USAirports Hangars on Scottsville Road. The free grocery giveaway amassed $33,640 in additional donations for hospitalized kids.

RE/MAX agents get involved by generously contributing a donation for each real estate transaction made.
