Wal-Mart Celebrates 20 Years Bringing Miracles to Local Kids

Rochester celebrities – news reporters, pageant winners and sports mascots – bagged groceries in celebration of Wal-Mart’s 20-year commitment to children through partnership with Children’s Miracle Network. (Rochester’s 11 local Wal-Mart and 2 local Sam’s Club stores have raised more than $2.3 million for kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong since 1991.)

An in-store celebration was held Thursday morning, May 31, complete with cake, a Miracle Kid and family from Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, local store managers and top-fundraising associates, and, of course, local celebrities.
