Partnering for Kids Campaign
Golisano Children’s Hospital has embarked on a strategic plan to reach an ambitious but very attainable goal...To become one of the top 10 children's hospitals in the United States The approved five-year Pediatric Strategic Plan will transform Golisano Children’s Hospital from the best children’s hospital in the region to one of the finest in the state and perhaps the nation. We are committed to expanding our services beyond the current neonatal and critical care cases to include organ transplant patients, the sickest cancer patients and the most complex cardiac surgery patients. The single largest priority is for us to secure funding for a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PICU/PCICU). Our plans call for a new PICU/PCICU of approximately 20,000 square feet, accommodating 22 beds and the needs of our children requiring pediatric transplantation, cardiology, cancer and surgical care. We will be placing this new unit directly on top of the new Ronald McDonald House Charities Emergency Department for the finest in health care delivery. Please take a few minutes to review the Partnering for Kids Campaign Powerpoint Presentation. If you have questions or would like further information feel free to contact Scott Rasmussen, Executive Director of Development, at 273-5932. Thank you.
